چکیده
Purpose:To evaluate the vestibulocochlear symptoms and audiological findings in patients with radiologically detected vascular compression of abnormally localized vertebral artery at cerebellopontine angle. Materials Methods: Patients magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) an image due to angulated or lateralized included. The degree based on was noted by radiologist. patients’ medical records were independently reviewed presence tinnitus, hearing loss, vertigo results mean thresholds pure tone average (PTA), speech discrimination (SD) scores, V latency, I-V interpeak latency auditory brainstem responses (ABR) noted. Results: close relationship 28 MR scans. categorized as point nerve 5 patients, longitudinal 17, contact loop indentation 6. There no differences between ipsilateral symptom patterns all groups. In groups, PTA, SD ABR found abnormal compared contralateral but failed show statistical significance. Conclusion: suggest that there significant clinical value cochleovestibular nerve. unexplained dizziness tinnitus complaints, deciding cause angle discussing necessity decompression surgery will only be possible larger patient series.

Cavernous hemangioma, also known as cavernous angioma, accounts for 10-20% of vascular malformations.1,2 Extra-axial lesions are rare. Most tumors are found in the sinuses, Meckel’s cavity, posterior fossa, including the cerebellarpontine angle and internal auditory meatus.3 This paper reports the clinical case of a patient with cavernous hemangioma involving the internal auditory meatus whose ...

Lymphoma of the central nervous system is uncommon, accounting for approximately 0.2-2% of all brain tumors [17] . Numerous descriptions of the CT appearance of primary and secondary lymphomas have been published [1-16]; however, to our knowledge, lymphoma presenting as a homogeneously enhancing, cerebellopontine angle mass has been reported only once before [13]. We reviewed our experience wit...
